Apple's long-anticipated foldable iPhone isn't late to the party after all. Sources tell Bloomberg's Mark Gurman the device remains firmly on schedule for a September unveiling alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max.

The report directly contradicts recent claims of production delays that had cast doubt on the timeline. Instead, Apple appears locked in on its standard fall launch window for the biggest hardware shakeup to its iPhone lineup in years.

A foldable iPhone would mark Apple's first entry into a form factor that Samsung, Google, and others have been iterating on for several generations now. The company has famously held back, preferring to wait rather than ship an unpolished first attempt.
