Adobe Drops Firefly AI Assistant for Creative Cloud

Adobe just pulled the curtain off Firefly AI Assistant — an AI agent that can orchestrate and execute complex, multistep workflows across its Creative Cloud suite. Public beta hits in the coming weeks.

The assistant isn't just a chatbot. It can tap into multiple Adobe apps simultaneously, stringing together actions that would normally require users to bounce between tools manually. Think of it as a workflow autopilot for the creative stack.

This isn't entirely new territory for Adobe. The company first teased the concept back in October under the codename "Project Moonlight." That early preview showed an assistant capable of performing tasks on your behalf by leveraging different Adobe applications.

Now it has a real name and a launch window. Firefly AI Assistant represents Adobe's biggest bet yet on agentic AI — moving beyond generation into full task execution across its ecosystem.
