Anthropic Drops Claude Design for Visual Prototyping
Anthropic's new experimental tool lets Claude users create slides, prototypes, and one-pagers directly inside the AI.
Anthropic just gave Claude a creative upgrade. The company launched Claude Design, an experimental product that turns its AI into a visual creation tool.
The new feature lets users generate prototypes, presentation slides, one-pagers, and other visual assets directly through Claude. It's a clear push to move beyond text-only AI interactions and into design territory that's traditionally owned by tools like Figma, Canva, and PowerPoint.
Claude Design is labeled experimental, which means Anthropic is testing the waters before a broader rollout. No word yet on pricing tiers or whether it'll be gated behind Pro subscriptions.
The move signals Anthropic's ambition to make Claude a do-everything assistant rather than just a chatbot. As AI companies race to differentiate, visual output is becoming the new battleground.
