Revolut Posts £4.5B Revenue as It Charges Toward Bank Status
The London fintech giant grew revenue 46% year-over-year with pre-tax profit hitting £1.7B in 2025.
Revolut is putting up numbers that would make most traditional banks sweat. The London-based fintech reported 2025 revenue of £4.5 billion, a 46% jump year-over-year. Pre-tax profit surged to £1.7 billion, up significantly from £1.1 billion in 2024.
Customer growth kept pace with the financial performance. The company added roughly a third more users over the year, a 33% increase that shows the platform is still pulling in new sign-ups at scale.
The strong results land as Revolut pushes to transition from fintech darling to fully licensed bank. That shift would unlock new products, deeper customer relationships, and a whole different regulatory playing field.
For now, the trajectory speaks for itself. Revenue nearly doubled profit, customer acquisition is accelerating, and the bank license ambition suddenly looks a lot more credible.
