India's PC Market Smashes All-Time Record in 2025
India shipped 15.9M PCs in 2025, beating even pandemic-era demand with 10.2% year-over-year growth.
India just had its biggest PC year ever. According to IDC, the country shipped 15.9 million units in 2025 — a 10.2% jump over the previous year and enough to eclipse even the COVID-19 pandemic buying frenzy.
The commercial segment drove the bulk of it. Business buyers accounted for 52.9% of all shipments, meaning enterprises and organizations were the real engine behind the record-breaking numbers.
That's a notable shift. The pandemic boom was largely fueled by consumers scrambling for work-from-home and remote learning setups. This time, it's corporate and institutional demand doing the heavy lifting.
The numbers signal a maturing market where commercial refresh cycles and digital transformation spending are outpacing consumer appetite. India's PC sector isn't just recovering — it's rewriting the record books.
