Apple is hosting a "special Apple Experience" in New York City with new hardware expected across multiple product lines.
Apple just fired off invitations for what it's calling a "special Apple Experience" set for March 4 in New York City, kicking off at 9:00am ET.
The company is keeping things characteristically vague, but the rumor mill is already spinning at full speed. Industry watchers expect the event to showcase an M5-powered MacBook Pro, a new entry-level iPad Air, and the iPhone 17e.
That's a pretty wide product spread for a single event — laptops, tablets, and phones all under one roof. The M5 chip would mark Apple's next generation of silicon, while the iPhone 17e suggests Apple is continuing to push into the more affordable end of its smartphone lineup.
NYC as a venue is a notable departure from Apple's usual Cupertino home turf. Whatever Apple has cooking, it clearly wants a bigger stage.
