Anthropic Scores Massive $30B Round at $380B Valuation
The AI company just closed one of the largest private funding rounds in tech history.
Anthropic just pulled off a jaw-dropping Series G. The AI company raised $30 billion at a $380 billion post-money valuation, cementing its position as one of the most valuable private companies on the planet.
GIC and Coatue co-led the round. They brought serious backup: D. E. Shaw Ventures, Dragoneer, Founders Fund, ICONIQ, and MGX all jumped in as co-leads. Sequoia and Nvidia also participated.
That's a staggering amount of capital flowing into a single company. For context, this round alone is bigger than the entire market cap of most public tech companies.
The valuation marks a massive leap for Anthropic, which has been racing to compete in the red-hot AI market. With $30 billion in fresh ammunition, the company has plenty of runway to keep building.
