Apple has announced that iOS 27 will support the iPhone 11, the handset it launched back in 2019. That's a pretty remarkable run for a smartphone still getting the latest platform update.
Now compare that to Android flagships from the same year. Google's Pixel 4 and Samsung's Galaxy S10 — both 2019 devices — received only three years of platform updates before being put out to pasture. The iPhone 11 is still standing.
