Nvidia Posts Record $81.6B Quarter, Data Center Up 92%
Nvidia's fiscal Q1 2027 delivers record revenue of $81.6 billion with data center leading the charge.
Nvidia just dropped a monster quarter. The chipmaker reported record revenue of $81.6 billion for Q1 fiscal 2027 — an 85% jump from the same period a year ago.
Data Center was the clear engine, pulling in $75.2 billion on its own. That's a 92% year-over-year increase and accounts for the vast majority of total revenue. The AI infrastructure boom continues to funnel cash directly into Nvidia's pockets.
The company also announced an additional $80 billion share repurchase authorization, signaling confidence in its own trajectory and returning serious capital to shareholders.
These numbers cement Nvidia's position as the dominant force in AI computing hardware. Data Center alone now dwarfs what was once the company's entire business.
