Shares of Dell Technologies and HP Inc. both spiked after SemiAccurate reported that Nvidia has been in negotiations for over a year to acquire a large company. The report claims the deal would fundamentally reshape the PC landscape.
The exact target remains unnamed, but the mere suggestion that Nvidia — already the undisputed king of AI chips — might muscle into the PC hardware space was enough to send ripples through the market. Dell and HP investors apparently like what they see, betting one of them could be the target.
