Apple Taps Bosch, Cirrus Logic, TDK for US Manufacturing Push
Apple expands its American Manufacturing Program with four new partners making components domestically for global sale.
Apple just supercharged its American Manufacturing Program. The company announced a major expansion on Thursday, onboarding four new partners: Bosch, Cirrus Logic, TDK, and Qnity Electronics.
The deal puts these suppliers to work making components on US soil — not just for domestic consumption, but for worldwide distribution. It's a meaningful signal that Apple is serious about diversifying its manufacturing footprint beyond Asia.
Bosch and TDK are heavyweight industrial component makers. Cirrus Logic supplies audio chips already deeply embedded in Apple's product lineup. Qnity Electronics rounds out the new roster.
Apple has been steadily building out its US manufacturing network for years. This latest expansion adds real production muscle to what started as a relatively modest program. Components made stateside, shipped globally — that's the pitch.
