iOS 26.4 Drops With Playlist Playground and 8 New Emoji
Apple's latest iPhone update packs 13 enhancements including prompt-based playlist creation and fresh emoji characters.
Apple just shipped iOS 26.4, stuffing 13 new enhancements into your iPhone. The headliner is Playlist Playground — a new Apple Music feature that generates playlists from a text prompt. Type what you're in the mood for, get a playlist back. Simple.
The update also drops 8 new emoji characters into the mix, because apparently we still need more of those. Keyboard accuracy gets a boost too, which is quietly one of the most useful improvements in the bunch.
Beyond those highlights, Apple packed in additional tweaks and refinements across the board. The full changelog covers the remaining enhancements, but the big three — Playlist Playground, new emoji, and smarter typing — are what most users will actually notice day-to-day.
