Meta Dangles Cash to Poach Top Creators From TikTok and YouTube

Meta just rolled out Creator Fast Track — a straight-up talent raid on TikTok and YouTube. The program targets top creators already thriving on rival platforms, dangling guaranteed monthly paychecks and algorithmic reach boosts to get them posting on Facebook.

The pitch is simple: bring your audience, we'll pay you and make sure people actually see your content. It's aimed at established creators on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube who haven't prioritized Facebook as a distribution channel.

This is Meta playing offense. Facebook has struggled to compete for creator attention as short-form video shifted to TikTok and long-form stayed glued to YouTube. Guaranteed pay removes the biggest friction point — creators don't have to gamble on a new platform's monetization.

Whether creators actually stick around after the checks clear is another question entirely.
