Alibaba Prepping Enterprise AI Agent Built on Qwen

Alibaba is gearing up to drop an agentic AI service aimed squarely at enterprise customers. The launch could happen as early as this week, according to sources cited by Bloomberg.

The agent is built on Alibaba's Qwen foundation model and represents the company's biggest push yet to monetize its AI stack through business-facing tools. The plan doesn't stop at a standalone product — Alibaba intends to gradually weave the agent into its existing ecosystem, including Alipay.
