Google is pushing Gemini deeper into Chrome with a significant international expansion. The AI assistant is now available in India, New Zealand, and Canada, bringing the browser's built-in AI capabilities to millions of new users.

Alongside the geographic rollout, Google added support for more than 50 new languages. Hindi, French, and Spanish are among the additions, dramatically widening the pool of people who can actually use Gemini in their native tongue.

The move signals Google's aggressive push to make AI a default part of the browsing experience — not just for English speakers in the U.S. Chrome already dominates global browser market share, and embedding Gemini directly into it gives Google a massive distribution channel for its AI tech.

No word yet on when additional countries will get access.
