Tesollo and Techman Team Up for Flexible Factory Automation
New cobot-gripper combo targets manufacturers juggling diverse product lines in small batches.
Tesollo and Techman Robot have paired up to tackle one of manufacturing's persistent headaches: high-mix, low-volume production. The combo mates Tesollo's DG-3F-M articulated gripper with Techman's TM5S collaborative robot arm.
The system is designed for tasks like bin picking and assembly — the kind of fiddly, varied work that traditional fixed automation handles poorly. High-mix environments require constant retooling, making rigid setups impractical and expensive.
Tesollo's three-finger gripper brings the dexterity needed to handle different parts without swapping end effectors. Techman's cobot arm adds the reach and programmability to work alongside human operators safely.
It's a practical play. Factories increasingly need robots that can switch between tasks fast, not just repeat one motion a million times. This partnership targets exactly that gap.
