TSMC is telling clients to lock in N2 chip production slots now, with major capacity already booked for the next two to three years.

TSMC's Next-Gen N2 Chips Nearly Sold Out Through 2027

TSMC's next-generation N2 process node is becoming the hottest ticket in semiconductors — and the window is closing fast.

According to exclusive reporting from Tim Culpan at Culpium, the chipmaking giant is pushing clients to finalize their N2 production allocations as far out as Q2 2027. Large capacity allotments are nearly sold out for the next two years.

Bigger customers have already locked in their bookings spanning two to three years out. Smaller players? They're being urged to get their requirements in now or risk getting squeezed out entirely.

The demand signals are staggering. TSMC's most advanced process nodes have always been capacity-constrained, but N2 appears to be hitting a new level of pre-booking frenzy. When your foundry is telling you to plan three years ahead, the chip arms race isn't slowing down anytime soon.
