Apple Bringing Mac Mini Production to Texas in Late 2026

Apple is pulling some Mac Mini production out of Asia and planting it on American soil. The company confirmed plans to move part of its desktop computer manufacturing to a Foxconn facility in Houston, Texas, starting later in 2026.

The move is part of Apple's massive $600 billion commitment to invest in the United States over four years. That's not pocket change — even by Apple standards.

The Mac Mini, Apple's compact desktop workhorse, will become one of the first Apple products with a meaningful US manufacturing footprint. Foxconn, the Taiwanese contract manufacturer that already builds the bulk of Apple's hardware globally, will operate the Texas facility.

Don't expect every Mac Mini to carry a "Made in Texas" stamp just yet. Apple said "some" production is shifting — not all of it. Asia remains the backbone of Apple's supply chain for now.
