Jensen Huang Declares 'We've Achieved AGI' in Wide-Ranging Interview
Nvidia CEO tells Lex Fridman that artificial general intelligence has arrived, covers AI scaling, coding's future, and space data centers.
Jensen Huang dropped a bombshell on the Lex Fridman podcast: "We've achieved AGI." The Nvidia CEO didn't mince words about where he thinks artificial intelligence stands right now.
The sprawling conversation covered serious ground. Huang discussed AI scaling laws — the principles governing how models improve with more compute and data — and OpenClaw, Nvidia's push into open robotics. He also laid out his vision for the future of coding, suggesting the discipline is transforming fundamentally under AI pressure.
Things got wilder from there. Data centers in space came up as a genuine topic, not science fiction. Huang also addressed Nvidia's complicated relationship with China, a persistent thorn given export restrictions on advanced chips.
Running Nvidia through the AI boom clearly hasn't made Huang cautious. If anything, he's swinging bigger.
